Exodus 1:16-17, 20-21
"When you help the Hebrew women in childbirth and observe them on the delivery stool, if it is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live." The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
God uses the people considered to be the bottom of society to bring salvation. He not only saved the Israelites, but he blessed the willing servants as well. How great are the rewards of being a servant.

I really love how God took care of the midwives. Even though it looks like they were lying to pharaoh. It was fear versus fear and they choose to fear God more.
